“Take life as it comes. Run when you have to, fight when you must, rest when you can”- Robert Jordan.

I’m taking life as it comes,

I’m taking people as they come.

YOLO-You Only Live Once, they say,

Drowning in the essence of every minute,

Basking in the content of every second.

I used to be so sad about a lot of things (I still am really), however, I’ve learnt and decided to take life as it comes and I’m really in the process of overcoming the sadness.

I used to be so sad about losing friends/ people (not to death), to life, to destroyed trust, to betrayals (I still am really), however, I’ve learnt and decided to take people as they come and life is going on well, thanks for asking.

Does it ever get to a point where you literally want to be alone for the sole aim of crying intensely? Like there is no cause for you to cry but you just want to cry and let out all the disappointments, the anger, the fear, the hurt, the pain, everything. I’ve been there, I still struggle with these things, however, I’m taking life as it comes and I’m learning to trust the process.

Being intentional and making a conscious effort allows you to even begin the process and the beginning just sets the pace and allows you to immerse yourself in ‘trusting the process’.

I therefore urge you to trust the process; the journey will not be easy to be honest. In the end however, your intentionality will pave the way for you and life will take a better turn for your good.

Take life as it comes, bask in its fullness and while at it, don’t forget to make a positive impact.
